Pepa is a multi-disciplinary writer, performer and producer. Experimenting with storytelling and physical theatre, her work responds to reality through vulnerability, commitment, and entertainment. Often exploring the themes of migration, feminism, tradition, community, family, and belonging.

Pepa’s productions push boundaries to make unique, experiential, and challenging pieces that speak to the demands of social change.

Solo show ‘Eating Myself’ is supported by Arts Council England, Battersea Arts Centre, AppleCart Arts, Golden Goose Theatre, Peruvian Embassy, and Latin American Women’s Aid.

Digital international collaboration ‘Desarmar’ was commissioned by Popelei Theatre. Previous commissions have also been awarded by Counterpoint Arts for Yorkshire’s ‘Platforma Festival’, and Pepa was a selected artist for the UKNA City Takeover and WeekENDER.

Pepa is currently offering a ONLINE MENTORING opportunity for migrant emerging artists and a workshop on theatre-making in Birmingham as part of Eating Myself UK TOUR.
